FS Trafford Store Re-fit

Stocks Taylor Benson have been the lead design agency for Freespirit since 1997.
In that time the chain has developed from one store to 35, selling top surf and skate brands.

Although predominately supplying creative solutions for Freespirit’s windows, instore POS and literature STB were
asked to suggest ideas and visuals, on a limited budget, that could be used to transform a tired looking 12 year old
shop into a fresh new contemporary store, with a view to rolling the look out cost effectively across the chain.

The store was completely transformed by the removal of outdated store theatre, the trebling of lighting power,
the introduction of a new bright colour pallet, clear signage and graphics and new mannequin displays.

The redesign made the product feel accessible and appealing as it could be seen with complete clarity, helped
by the installation of new matching gondola and freestanding units to replace the existing cluttered shop floor.

The store re-opened on 26/04/08 and reports show an instant increase in sales.
