STB Lords it Up

We were at the House of Lords this week, for the launch of the Associate Parliamentary Innovation Group's report
"Design & the Public Good: Creativity vs the Procurement Process?"  

Smarter working between the public services and the design industry is a laudable objective, anything that reduces the burden of PQQs, ITTs, Frameworks and so on is worthwhile.  However, something tells us it will still be some time before we see government managing to commission design in the simple, effective way that private sector clients seem to achieve day in day out
